Workbench Class (at Home) - Winter 2021

Start with the kit and a small collection of tools. End with a beautiful workbench and an expanded set of hand tool skills.

This class will take place over the course of six to eight weeks. The price of $4495 includes a Silver Maple Workbench Kit with Condor Tail End Cap, Benchcrafted M Glide and Tail Vises as well as a combination of pre-recorded instruction and live video conferencing. Upgraded materials and additional hardware are also available.

The recorded content will be delivered on a weekly basis and followed up with a group meeting to address any concerns or questions. In addition I will offer "Office Hours" for those that might need private, one-on-one instruction.

Class size for this quarter will be limited to 6 students. After you reserve your spot I will call to answer any additional questions, confirm you have watched the videos, reviewed the schedule and that you have the required tools. Once that is done you will be billed for a $1000 deposit. You'll have 24 hours to pay the invoice. After that your spot will be offered to the first person on the waiting list. About 6 weeks before class begins I will collect the balance of the class cost so that I can bring in materials and build the kits. Your $1000 is fully refunadble, less a $100 cancellation fee, up until the time the balance is due. If you wish to cancel at this time, you will receive a return totalling $900. If you wish to cancel after your balance is paid and before the kits have shipped, you will need to find a student to take your place. Once the kits are under construction each one is personalized to it's future owner, so it may be difficult to find someone else.
