If you've been listening to the Modern Woodworkers Association Podcast lately you may have noticed something was missing.
Or maybe it's someone.
I'm not sure what, exactly, Dyami Plotke does for a living, but I know it has something to do with emergency management. And it would come as no surprise to hear that he's a pretty busy guy right now. As a result, Dyami has taken a temporary leave of absence from the Podcast to be available for his increasingly unpredictable and, what have to seem like, endless work days.
After my recent interview, I suggested to Kyle and Sean that they might need to a guest host to fill the empty seat until Dyami's day job get's back to something approaching normal. I'm not a big fan of pointing out problems without offering to help, so I volunteered for the job. I'm not sure why, but they accepted the offer and this week I make make my debut.
My primary goal will be to simply shut up and listen. Aside from that I'll be doing my best to ask at least one good question each week. A question that helps the audience, challenges the guest, or makes their voice come alive. I'll trust you to let me know how I'm doing.
