Preparing Stock Without a Tablesaw

I wanted to make the process of building a Shave Horse from my kit as accessible as possible, so I shot this short video on how I would go about prepping stock without a table saw.

I think it's important for anyone setting up a woodworking shop to know that a table saw is not an essential tool. They can certainly be very useful. But if you're woodworking as a hobby, and speed is a lower priority than safety, you might want to consider leaving this tool off your list.
